how close is this game?
I tried playing this game to the end and only won by 0.5 after 40+ moves. If Lee Changho read that whole thing, I'm blown away.

As Touja-Meijin once said: Yose is unlike the game up to now in that there is only one path. It's a complicated one and it's easy to make a mistake. But there is only one correct path. This player will not make a mistake. Like I, he has alread seen the end of the game.

I believe that at this point, time limits are the real issue. http://www.usgo.org/news/2010/06/michae ... ros-train/

Re: how close is this game?
It's not that hard. There are only three main points: K7, which W must play next, then N12 and B15 area. The rest is just trivial exchanges. It follows that B has an unshakeable lead following a quick analysis.
Excellent and relevant link, hyperape. Redmond gives a good insight into high-level endgame, and how to top professionals, especially endgame master Lee Changho, the game is decided 50 moves before it is actually finished.
