Firefox(nightly builds) trouble

Post by v00d00 »

Hi all!

I got one weird thing in Kaya: constantly 100% CPU load while playing or just viewing someone's game. And in sandbox I have big lag after clicking, sound is about 0.5 sec late.

How to find and fix this problem?

My config: FF 16 (even with clean profile), WinXP, rusty celeron 530 laptop :)

In Chrome all fine. Under ubuntu too (just a bit laggy sound)

Thanks for any ideas

We are not a CPU intensive application(but some processing is done for actively drawing and such). Its interesting that is something you experience in one browser, but not the other one.

Ill have to think how to diagnose this. Maybe there is a firefox plugin that lets you see cpu usage better.

I have FireBug and can get some info from profiler, but can't interpret it properly :)

upd Another laptop, Win7, FF18 — same stuff (≈20% load, but in this case processor much more powerful)

UPD (about week later) solved by some magic
