I was there, but there were so many people it was hard to get a good look
"There are no limits. There are plateaus, but you must not stay there, you must go beyond them. If it kills you, it kills you. A man must constantly exceed his level." -- Bruce Lee
At least 50 bullets were fired by two gangs of teenagers with a long-standing feud in the heart Bangkok on Friday morning after they argued following a "Gangnam Style" dance competition, police said.
[...]
While they were partying and drinking, they competed against each other in "Gangnam Style" dance. The two sides began to quarrel as the competition got more intense and one of the groups later left the venue, he said.
"Four people from the group returned at 6am and fired several shots into the sky. I tried to mediate and they agreed to leave," the teenager said.
"Three of them later returned about 8am and they sprayed bullets in all directions like in action movies. I and other people there were running for our lives."
I'd be laughing much harder if it weren't for the fact somebody could have gotten killed.
(Then again, I have an intense dislike of K-pop, which I find irritatingly derivative, with the male singers dressed like fops and having what looks like so much TV make-up that they look almost asexual.)

Silly people will fight over anything. This song just happened to be the focal point for the fight. It could have been anything. Violent people will be violent people just as good people will be good people.

I don't see why you dislike Gangnam Style, then. It seems pretty atypical K-pop.
I searched yesterday. The video is mildly entertaining, since the band actually has some interesting dance moves, but it didn't draw me enough to watch it til the end.
