Two questions:
1) When solving problems on my Ipad in SmartGo Kifu, I'm sometimes curious as to other variations, and I found found if I hit "SETTINGS", and go to "REPLAY", I can see different variations. The problem is it appears my changes are permanently made to the problem!
How can I go back to the original settings? Or, how do I delete my variations to go back to how things were?
2) I subscribe to Panda Magazine, and I get UGI files. Will SmartGo be able to open these? If not, how can I do this?
Thanks!

Changes in problems after adding variations in Replay mode: Those changes used to be permanent, but I fixed that earlier this year. Now, they stick around while SmartGo Kifu is running, but once you reboot the device, it should go back to the original problems. Please let me know if you're seeing a different behavior.
Reading UGI files: SmartGo Kifu can read some UGI files. For example, if you take the sample file at http://www.pandanet.co.jp/cgi-bin/pandalib-us?001-rgis, put it in Dropbox, then select that file in the Dropbox app on the iPad and choose Open In, it will give SmartGo Kifu as one of the choices, and tapping on that will open the file in SmartGo Kifu. However, I have yet to find a spec for the UGI format, so if you run into UGI files that SmartGo Kifu can't open, please send them to me so I can improve the code for reading that format.

Re: Smartgo Kifu Questions - changing problems and UGI conve
Hi Anders,
When I go to dropbox on my ipad mini and select one of the Panda files (.ugi), I don't get asked what program I want to open the file with. Instead, I get lines of code:
[Header]
Ver=UGF3,200
Lang=SJIS
Crypt=0
etc...
Any ideas???
Cheers,
Joel

You have to actually select the Open In option. In iOS 7 it's in the box-with-arrow menu icon on the top-right, beside the star sign. Tap and select Open In.
When Dropbox knows how to display a file (ugi files are plain text, so it knows) it won't ask what to open it in, generally. You have to specifically force it to use another app.
