Play Go on ebook reader?

Post by PeterPeter »

Does anyone know a website that plays Go against you, that works on the browser of an e-reader like the Sony PRS T1? Like the Go equivalent of this one for chess: http://p4wn.sourceforge.net/sven/

There are bots on dgs you can play against. It's not really realtime though.

There are probably one or two sites in the announcement forum that did that. I specifically remember a site that was just a simple webpage interface to gnugo, so you could play on a mobile browser. I used it at college. Don't have the link right now, though.

Found it: http://wap-go.com/

It's very bare bones, but it can provide you with games without having your own program around. I stopped using it when I got drago+gnugo on a usb pen. I have even less use for it now that I can use Kaya.

That's ideal! Thank you. That will tide me over until I get a full Android tablet.

It is a realtime go server but you can play against either humans or several bots.
