wuzheng.me is a site in mainland China, with English and chinese available. No software to download, and no time restrictions. Players register for free and can put their rating on and play simply with any phone, pad. This server has many different nice backgrounds for the goban, and the players here are strong. There are no annoying site admins, advertisements, or nonsense. Just the wei chi.

The "team frighting" bit is the same as "use your brower.", just misunderstood english. The site admin made an attempt for the site to be universal even though it is based in Guangdong. Given that the site is free and the players there are very strong anyone who is smart would not waste their time on bs servers, ie, KGS. Not to distract from any Go server, however some are betters than others. Wuzheng.me is one of the best because it doesnt have bs. There isnt the small man syndrome focus on rating nonsense although players can list what they think they are and many list 18 kyu should be 1 dan, and there also is a lack of time controls so there isnt the bs about winning due to time. There is a scoring feature and the majority of the players have really good etiquette. Unlike kaya.gs, this is not a server dedicated to chatting nonsense while only the really good players play. If you want to play anywhere, cell phones, tablets, computers and you have an internet connection, this site kicks ass.

Having toyed around with it, I fail to see what it has to offer that OGS and DGS don't - I see lots of features that OGS and DGS have that really draw me in that Wuzheng doesn't.

It's not a terrible server by any means, but it feels like there are far superior alternatives for English speaking people.

Several days later, and a dozen tries later, I still didn't manage to get in wuzheng.

It may be the best server ever, but I'll stick to DGS, where the downtimes are rare and brief.

Alguien, try this link. The registration obviously appears in Chinese. The first field is your email address, the second your desired userid, the third the password and the fourth a repitition of the password.
