Did everyone realise that the European Cup finished? If not, here are the results (see herefor full listings)
1. Csaba Mero
2. Ondrej Silt
3. Pal Balogh
4. Lukas Kraemer
5. Martin Li
6. Rudi Verhagen
7. Pavol Lisy
8= Andrew Kay, Chong Han, Jan Simara
From my calculations, the total prize fund = 5900 from competition + EGF donation of a minimum of 1100 (according to its website).

Re: Go European Cup
Is the event definitely on for 2013? I just noticed that there was no Calendar beyond year end 2012. Obviously, there aren't many tournaments in January, and people take a while to update things... but I'd have thought some stuff would have been laid out in advance.
Anyone know?

Prolly weren’t sure there’d be somewhere to play after 2012

Re: Go European Cup
Actually, the normal calendar has 2013 events listed, so seems certain it will continue.
I wonder if they should have smaller zones to encourage genuine participation
