With two local ko threats at A and B, plus the invasion at C, I think white's doing alright here. Black has some threats to live in the corner, but I don't see anything as gigantic as white's reductions at C and on the left. Maybe some threats against white's top left group.

I don't like my chances with this fight. I think he has a ton of huge and obvious ko threats. Mine are less obvious and worse I think. But for now all I can do is retake.

Hi Splatted, sorry I haven't signed in for a while. The bottom line is I'm extremely busy for another few weeks. It looks like you're starting a Big Brother game (I'm looking forward to watching). If you'd like to continue this one when I have time again that's fine, or you can just accept my resignation. I don't mind either way, I've already learned some things from the game.

If you really have no preference then I think I'll opt to end the game here. I can't accept your resignation though; I was going to resign if I lost that ko, so let's just call it unfinished and leave it at that. :lol:

Thanks. I had fun too, I may not have gotten much stronger or played enough in the past year but I think I've learned things and have a more reasonable playstyle now.

As for the ko fight, I felt like you had infinite ko threat factories in the top right and the top middle :lol:.
But I think the game in general was close and interesting, and I'm happy with a neutral result.

I'll be cheering for you in the Big Brother game, good luck.

You may be right but I'm terrible at ko fights because I tend to panic and end them as soon as my opponent makes a threat that is slightly less valuable than the ko. :lol:
