Markovich games wish list
is it possible to hide the hide tag from a player until the end of the game?? that will guarantee no one cheating on other's comment.
also is it possible to just click next move instead of changing the text file picture of the board??
i am a programmer also..so answer should be yes it is possible but takes some time and effort.

I suspect that it is, but even then, nothing prevents a player from having two accounts and using the second one to read the hide tags. So we have to just trust everyone.

It also should be possible, but it is a lot of work. The player can just coppy and paste, and then add his move.

Likely difficult, but I know we have skilled programmers here. What could be really useful would be the possibility to automatically generate SGF file containing moves and variations from posts. A long-term project of course.

In regard to Magicwand's first request, I think that it might be feasible if we get around to shapenaji's request here: viewtopic.php?p=679#p679
I'm not sure I understand this request. What do you guys mean?

Just guessing, but I think he means like a live turn-based board.

Unless we hide the hide tags from guests and the player, the player would see them when not logged in. And even then you have the issue of the player creating a second account.
If the player wants to cheat, they will cheat. So it may best just to trust your opponent.

I'm thinking...
