Lots of slow moves but your response to move 63 took a won game and started down the path of losing.

Re: 13x13 loss w/ 9 stone handicap
Here are some mistakes you made:
B8 should be one space lower to block White from the side. You played there later (B14) using two moves to do what could have been accomplished with one and ignoring White's 3-3 invasion was a huge loss.
B12 should be a hanging connection. Ignoring this eventually cost you the game.
B14 should respond to W13.
B64 was a wasted move. Those White stones were already dead and you should have prevented W65.

when you say "slow moves" do you mean connecting instead of jumping?

B8 is the first one that comes to mind and has already been mentioned above.
B14 doesn't accomplish much at this point of the game and should have replied on top right.
B20 doesn't do too much either.
I could go on, but for your level these aren't what I would worry about as much as moves 64 where you took your won game and lost. We all make tons of errors through the game, but I think it's good to focus on just one or two and understand why they were bad. With tsumego practice you could realize that 63 would threaten some stones or how to correctly answer 65.

Re: 13x13 loss w/ 9 stone handicap
8: Just play G2 directly.
12: C6 would have defended the C5 cut and stopped black from moving out in to the side.
66: You saved the wrong stones here. Play D5
68: Finish saving the A5 stones. You sacrificed your centre stones for them so it can only be bad to sacrifice them to do damage control in the centre.
Apart from that I think you did pretty well. Remember the shape from my corrections for moves 8/12 and I think you'll probably win next time.

Re: 13x13 loss w/ 9 stone handicap
What do moves like
,
,
, and
do? Essentially, they do nothing. Especially near the beginning of the game, playing a move that does nothing is pretty much equivalent to wasting one handicap stone's worth of advantage you had. If, before you make every move, you ask yourself what the move does, and you don't play it if the answer is "nothing", I imagine you'll be down to 5 stones on a 9x9 quickly.

I play GnuGo on BW Go Free for android, but hell if I can figure out how to "end" a game after 2 passes and get it to score automatically and give a result in the SGF. Any one know?

after two passes, most programs enter a phase where each player marks/removes the dead stones before scoring can begin.
for beginners, this can still be a bit daunting. So this it might be best to go ahead and kill all the "dead" stones before the passes. Most computer opponents do this already.
Also, double-check that there are no open/unfinished borders. That would prevent being able to score a game.

Re: 13x13 loss w/ 9 stone handicap
I know everyone's made a big song and dance about your move 8, but why were you afraid to hane? You were worried about the cut, right? As Splatted has already pointed out, you didn't need to worry about the cut because of the hanging connection. In future if you're worried about hane-ing and getting cut, make a point of trying to read out what will happen. Very often you will find that the cut is unreasonable, and hanes that work without risk to yourself are usually big moves.
