Forming a box with 2 would be very good for black, but that would allow me to get the last big extension, so I'm not worried about it.

taking the other extension would make miai of a and b (a seems more valuable to black, but b seems to work better with the marked stones), so I'd probably be okay with this too, but I'm not sure my position on the left side justifies :w3:

I'm in two minds, which is why I didn't post before, but I guess the best option would be to see if someone wants to take over for dragon pie. Any takers?

What I really want to avoid is lots of waiting around followed by abandoning the game because right now I'm really interested in reading the comments, but I doubt I will be after a month spent not thinking about it.

Will I do? 1k IRL, 1d KGS. I think I can commit to approving something on most days, although on July I may be travelling somewhat :)

I have read the hidden comments in this thread, but it was days ago, don't remember much and in any case the game will soon move forward.

Open or closed book & database for big brothers? Both are fine for me, just need to know.

And finally, if I'm an acceptable substitute, I approve white's last move
