I think it's striking that this thread, devoted in large part to griping about the AGA and volunteering, has generated 6 pages of comments, including 5 in the first 2-3 hours. Meanwhile the thread in the AGA sub-board discussing plans for the improving the AGA in the future has languished with only five replies after a full day.

People always know what's wrong, but knowing how to fix it is much more difficult. That's the case for a lot of things, not just running a volunteer organization.

Not saying you're wrong, but there's also the fact that this topic is in General Chat, where it is going to get a lot more attention than the AGA subforum.

People dont always know whats wrong, but if your list is large then its something to point to when someone says "i didnt know this". Once we have a list we can start finding solutions.
