I was also sceptical, but the nexus 7 turns out to be great for playing online.

What I really like about EasyGo is the user profiles—this way I can let the kids from the School Go Workshop play through the Tsumego w/o disturbing each other’s “highscore” (and mine just as well)

Heck, people play go on their phones. The mini is a great tool for just about everything but you do need to get used to the small format for anything that requires detail.
