Thanks for the explanations, Marco and pleiade67 … I actually do know how to compile stuff on OS (given there are ReadMe files :D ) and/but from your explanations I understand that in this case this is not something I want or need to do. And I’m happy with Pachi … Goban apparently has become a lot stronger now.

Very nice to see this app is back again.

You need to create a new Pachi Player in the Preferences panel.

That's what I did, and now the app is solid; no crashes, it opens every SGF I throw at it, and everything just works. The developer was very good about keeping in contact and following up on the trouble I reported earlier. The last thing on my wishlist is multi-game SGF files.

At first I also thought they were gone, but they are in the info panel -> “positions”, just press cmd+5.

Thank you for the replies, but sadly none of these seem to work for me.

I'm on a Mac OS X ML system and neither the "Positions" nor the "Move" tab show any of the comments. Also, while looking through the moves the application is now crashing quite often.

I'm including a screenshot below of the empty "Moves" tab and the subsequent crash while perusing "Counting Lessons" :

I have long used the old version of Sen:te Goban to play against Fuego on my Mac. I updated to the new version today, and I can't play Fuego. The program either crashes or simply waits without a move being made. Has anyone managed to successfully run Fuego on the new Sen:te Goban? My version of Fuego is not 100% up-to-date, but it is not old either, I updated something like 3-4 months ago. Any advice would be much appreciated.
