Hello, I usually play on KGS, but I just tried out Tygem a couple of days ago...and I liked it a lot!
I just wanted to share my experience here, in case someone is interested. In fact I made the same experience as a lot of (?) other people on this forum.
-At the beginning, I was too stupid to install and run the thing
+ But then, IMO good interface, good playing without lags, cool feature with the counting down of the byo-yomi
+ instant matches! I just went to KOREA II or so where most of the players were, and then after 1 sec I got a game offer. Okay usually These are Blitz games and I rather like "long" games with 20-30 minutes per player, but I can offer these conditions and often people accept.
+ I somehow felt so relaxed during play, not like KGS where I am so stresses and, yes, fixated on my rank. Still, it was more fun, while on KGS it is like work. (I still like KGS tho)
-no chat with the opponent...
-I couldn't save the pro game I was watching.
Just my experience in case someone is interested in other go servers! I fear that I am the last one to try out Tygem and everyone else already tried it out, but in case this is not true...
Just tried out Tygem
