Re: GoPanda 2 Development Status
I registered an account with IGS tonight, but when I try to log on in Panda 2 it says "Connecting" then acts like the password was wrong or something. Is anyone else having connection issues? I verified my email and it said I have to log in within the next 20 hours...
The screenshots look amazing.

Same happens to me. Looks like the first bug report. You can always just use another client, for example here, in order to confirm your new username and password.

I tried to download the JNLP but it's only 1 KB and when I try to open it it says that it can't start the application. I guess I'll just stick to KGS for the time being.
Edit: I was able to download glgo and logged in there. Then immediately I logged out and tried Gopanda 2 and it worked just fine. I wonder if the bug is in verifying accounts for the first time.

OS X? In that case you might want to fire up System Preferences …kaimat wrote:[..] I tried to download the JNLP but it's only 1 KB and when I try to open it it says that it can't start the application. [..]
-> “Security & Privacy” -> “General” -> »Allow applications downloaded from:” -> click the radio button at the bottom (“Anywhere”) for just the first launch of the app.

Can't wait until I get the ability to save SGF.

Just played a game on Gopanda 2, and I am liking it a lot. I would like to request that you add reviewing tools, and perhaps also a score estimator. Other than that, it would be nice if you fixed the bug report function, which currently does nothing.
Patience, grasshopper.

Here is a shot from the game I played this morning (it was still open). I have the options menu open, so you can see what they are.

Hi Benjamin, after some time -- without doing anything differently -- GoPanda2 works on my Vista.
Two suggestions/feature requests:
- add an option to make the board 98+% full-screen height ?
- add an option to move the scroll bar from the bottom to the side (or the top, etc.)
Screen shot of the ideas:Thanks.

Hi, sry for the long absence...
daal: Bug report tool works now, score estimator will be implemented soon.
ed: Your screen must be really small
For me, the "fuller" fullscreen when pressing f for the 2nd time is enough. But I like your suggestion. We just won't have time to implement that soon, because our schedule for most of 2014 is already full with other stuff...

Sorry, I lost focus on this forum ^^° I'll try to check here more often in the future.
If you have questions or problems, you can always just write to support@pandanet-igs.com too - it will be mostly me responding
Regarding your question: No I don't have anything to do with the iOS app, so I recommend their forum: http://tetsuki.forum2go.nl/pandanet-igs-f2.html
