Gu Li very serious about jubango

Post by macelee »

I am compiling the tournament table of this year's Chinese Tianyuan tournament:

http://www.go4go.net/go/tournaments/sco ... 16-28-s32c

and Gu Li's name is missing from the tournament. As the current Chinese No. 4, he should have a reserved seat in the final 32. It turns out that he abandons the Tianyuan tournament (which he won six times in the past) in order to prepare the first game against Lee Sedol - that is how serious he is treating the jubango.

Hi, macelee, do you happen to know the prize money for the Tianyuan tourney versus that of the jubango ?
It may have something to do with it. :)
