Black can easily afford to give up those two stones if necessary, and could tenuki to take a big move regarding the bottom left. A double approach or an extension both seem quite large.

My point was, its giving the white groupe strengh ( one direction to run and one eye ( even if you dont realy need it right now ), and some influence on the right side to attack strongly the black approach on the bottom and in the middle to reduce black big moyo's

everything while we were in blacks influence sphere, is that enough or is that too small for a reduction ?

edit : i was thinking at something like :
when black retake the ko
white K14,H18,E13,G14,F13,G13 ( if white turns its hurting blacks moyo a lot i think ? ), white C8

I'm not sure I follow you, as the ko is already blacks, who would capture the other lone white stone and make himself incredibly thick. White then has to follow up locally to capture the two black stones, at which point black takes the big point. If white doesn't follow up immediately, black can choose to pull out the two stones and leave white relatively eyeless and without great center access.

In your example, I would consider black tenukiing instead of playing G14, in order to ruin the bottom left, and/or profit there.

to cut it short, what you are saying is that this ko isnt important right ?

and my point is, because white obviously wants to reduce the blacks moyo, why not cut now, before the H18/G16 exchange.
Blacks seems to want this ko for an unknow reason so i was showing that white has follow ups if black tenuki, and if black answer directly, at least he isnt as strong has he was before; you have an atari more to expand yourself; not sur it can be usefull but you never know.

do we agree on thoses lines or is there something i miss ?
