Has anyone used goshop-keima.com? I am starting to wonder if this site is legitimate. I have emailed them with a question on whether or not they will have Master Kwon problems volumes 1,2,5,8 in stock 4 days ago and haven't received a reply yet. Also I have tried to place an order and when it got to paying with PayPal I got an error saying that this feature doesn't work.

There definitely is a Goshop-Keima, it's in Amsterdam and part of Schaak en Go winkel Het Paard. I've both ordered from there and known someone who worked there. This is the "mother website": http://www.schaakengo.nl/

I'd say it's legitimate and that they're just having technical problems at the moment.

Communication with Het Paard is always very smooth and co-operative.

If you did run in any problems, there must be technical problems, or they must be very, very busy in the moment.

I have ordered and received books via their website using paypal payment on 2013-11-08 and 2012-12-04. In both cases the books were received less than a week later.

Ordered about £200 pounds worth of books this time last year using paypal, arrived within a few days. No problems!

Usually if they don't list the books in their website, it's out of stock. I doubt they would accept payment for something they can't deliver on. If they are not answering you, it's probably because even they themselves have no idea when they will be able to get copies of those books from Korea.

O no, you misunderstood. I ordered the books that were listed. The problem I am having is that the site didn't take me to the payment page, it simply gave me an error at that point. I emailed them about this.

The first email I sent was before I placed an order, asking if the books that are unlisted will be available in the near future. For that email I haven't got an answer so far.

The combination of these two events makes me wonder if the site is legitimate, and that is why I was asking that here. It would seem like no one else had any problems though. I guess I will wait and see. So far this website is making me quite uneasy though.

It's always good to proceed with caution in cases like this, but I can echo the sentiments of the other people that have vouched for the site. I ordered from them as recently as last week, and my books were delivered in under 3 days. I've ordered from them multiple times before, and all deliveries have always been quick and entirely correct.

I suspect your unease is being caused by mainly interacting with the websites of huge businesses that have rooms full of people fielding customer inquiries. A delay of a few days getting a response isn't unusual of that just one, perhaps two people.

Also, you have apparently been very fortunate in your ordering from we businesses never having an order "lock up" in the process. I've often encountered that even dealing with large enterprises. Something times out and ......

It's a legitimate site and I have made multiple orders from it. In each case, I received what I ordered from it (including the Kwon books, all of which I got from this site).

That having been said, they are sometimes (but not always) VERY SLOW by American/Canadian standards. I once sent them an e-mail about a pending order, and it took well over a month for them to reply.

So I would describe them as VERY RELIABLE, but sometimes (but not always) VERY SLOW.

If you are willing to be patient, you can probably rely on them 100%. They are honest but slow.

Goshop-keima.com is a website of 'schaak en go winkel het paard'. We own this company for more than 25 years. If we live long enough we will add another 25 years to it.

The technical aspects of the website are handled by an other company. 27 of januari the software of the website has been upgraded. As seems to be usual in this business, this means we suffer a downgrade first, but after a while it should be better. We can only apologize for that.

We also make mistakes, but always try to repair them at our expense.

I did order one book from them and everything went fine.

However their prices are a bit higher than from some other sites.
