This move is interesting. I agree that building black's moyo is a huge move, and this area is where White would love to reduce, but I don't think it is the right move for that.
I have been reading "The Theory and Practice of Shapes" which explains that the two point jump is used as a faster version of the one point jump. It is supposed to be used for running your group out quickly. Instead, it recommends using the long knight's move for building a moyo. This showed up in a recent pro game I reviewed. I recognized it because I had been skeptical about that comment in the book. I have seen pros use two point jumps to build moyos, but those situations are rare. Usually they use one point jumps and sometimes small or large knights moves.

Is this move not better? When I see it, the relationship across the whole board seems to make more sense to me.
I note a possible vector line between M4 and R9. The long knight's move almost falls on this. It also seems to hem white in more on the left. It builds larger in the center overall.
Will one point make that much of a difference? Perhaps not, but it was something I thought about when I read black's move.
