I'm going to Congess in Colorado Springs. I can't decide whether to fly or drive. Overall, counting wear and tear on the car, it is cheaper to fly. But if several other people were helping to pay gas, I'll drive. I will have either a Mercedes C320 that seats three people easily or four but the two in the back are cramped, or a Toyota van that seats six.
The shortest route is I15 / I70, but I could go I10 / I17 / I40 / I25 through Pheonix / Flagstaff / Albequerque.

Possibly, Maybe.
I'm also trying to decided whether to drive or fly as well. If you take the I15, then I'm on the way (las vegas). If you take the I40, I could most likely arrange to be in Kingman.
Give me a little time to start seriously considering it. (For example, I don't yet have vacation approved at work.)

I talked to Martin Lebl, the unoffical but hard-working coordinator of go travel from Arizona, and he said that there were "...a few people from both Tucson, and Phoenix going..."
I'd suggest meeting them in Flagstaff if there is a good place to stash the spare car for the week. ( Kingman is easy to go through if we're going to Flagstaff. )

We are now committed to I5 / I70. If you are in southern California, Nevada or Utah, there may be room for you.
