That's right, I play that plastic board with my kids and we all have really good time with it. but man... when I see that beautiful wood board... BTW : did anyone noticed the blood trace on it... or am I the only one ?

When you see that beautiful wood board, you should be aware that it could easily end up warping or cracking if it's not carefully cared for, or stained with wine when an acquaintance spills his glass on it at a party, and it'll be a heck of a lot more expensive to replace. Are you playing go or fondling pieces of wood, stone, and clam skeletons?

When it comes right down to it you don't need any equipment to play go, just use your mind and concentrate! But, in the interest of carrying things to ridiculous extremes, any wood boards and bowls ultimately mean trees are cut down, increasing global climate change; glass stones are manufactured in factories that pollute; plastic "stones" derive from petrolium ultimately (enough said).
