A question for any members from Vietnam

Post by DrStraw »

I received the following message in my DGS account:

Hello,
I'm a go player from Vietnam. I found your counting lessons very well present, instructive and immensely useful, so I'm considering translate it into Vietnamese, since it would be easier for our mid and upper kyus to read and understand. However, you explicitly stated to not allow editting of the files, so I'm wondering whether you could grant me permission to edit and translate those lessons, I will try to only translate the language and keep your words and ideas the same as in original English texts. For now, the translated lessons will be posted and kept solely on our forum : http://www.vncovay.org .
Thank for your time. I'm looking forward for your response
Best regard,
Nhan Ho

Does anyone know anything about this person or the site http://www.vncovay.org? I am inclined to let him so this but want to know who I am dealing with. Any information would be appreciated.
Still officially AGA 5d but I play so irregularly these days that I am probably only 3d or 4d over the board (but hopefully still 5d in terms of knowledge, theory and the ability to contribute).

You might want to ask KoKs, he's the webmaster. I think he is a member here.
