It's a position the sponsor gets to choose to get some more attention.

It's my imagination or lately wild card just means LCH?

Hmmm...
I think I like 'Lambretta Club Hellas' best. :)

If so, the answer would be no.

I wasn't meaning always, his name just ringed me as more frequent wildcard since his, well, slight fall from the top. I searched quickly here in L19 for wildcard and wild card and he has been 3 times, if I didn't miss anything, making him the wildest. It was just subjective feeling anyway.

I don't see this mentioned anywhere. There's a triple-ko game:

I saw it at the igokisen site. It was interesting to go through.

Komatsu 9p seems to be almost as much a regular as Lee chango in recent times. Strangely enough, he didn't qualify this year, but another Japanese player (excuse my ignorance for not knowing goto shungo) qualified. Compare with the main draw and female draw  .
On Go proverbs:
"A fine Gotation is a diamond in the hand of a dan of wit and a pebble in the hand of a kyu" —Joseph Raux misquoted.

I don't see Goto playing very much but he is fairly strong and regularly does commentary on the big Japanese matches. I've seen his commentary through Niconico, and he's pretty funny.

RO32 starts soon, August 26 at 11am KST: https://www.wolframalpha.com/input/?i=8%2F26+11am+kst Commentary on baduktv starts 2 hours after that.

Groups here: http://igokisen.web.fc2.com/wr/sc.html

RO32 is 8 groups of 4 players, each plays a mini double elimination. Win 2 games and you're through to the RO16.

I hope Michael Chen has some good games, maybe even a win?

They sure like to put all eggs in one basket. Death groups and then super easy groups.
