Useful sites for beginners?

Post by Elom »

With the upcoming Learn Go Week, it might be useful for us to create a pool of sites that will help our new budding Go enthusiasts to become prolific go players... or at least learn the rules. Or, please show interesting sites that present go in an exiting way. Thanks!
On Go proverbs:
"A fine Gotation is a diamond in the hand of a dan of wit and a pebble in the hand of a kyu" —Joseph Raux misquoted.

Well, that was a quick way to end a thread.
Still officially AGA 5d but I play so irregularly these days that I am probably only 3d or 4d over the board (but hopefully still 5d in terms of knowledge, theory and the ability to contribute).

Thank you very much everyone! I'll refer people to these sites in my poster for Learn Go Week, there are so many brilliant places that I haven't even had the time to look at yet!

Another addition to the YouTube series list: theduddha2

Great channel with a friendly, down-to-earth Go enthusiast. Also, one of the few I know of that posts current Go instruction. Unlike some other channels, he'll post topics specifically aimed at crucial beginner skills and present in a rudimentary fashion.
