Re: Pippen vs. whomever danplayer comes first here
I think a two-point jump here is better, even if riskier, to get the split stone involved more or at least to con black into thinking it could. My one and only true friend - KGS-SE - says that White is leading by 39 which means the balance is alright (or not at all)^^. The potential cap of my split stone in the next move worries me though. If it's played, I may need some advice^^. I have marked the interesting points for white in the immediate future. Agreed? Do you see more?

@Pippen
I think your split stone makes it harder to play your 'd' later.

Flexible move to probe black and to prepare an invasion on the lower side. What's your opinion about 'a' instead?

I think that "a" would lose the thread.

That was my first thought.

I do not want to commit now, so the marked stone is another light move.
@bill: When you commented earlier that 'a' would "lose the thread"...did you mean that 'a' was not a good move?

It's an interesting game. I find myself confused how to play against a bunch of light moves like what white has.

I meant that I think that it is inconsistent. I don't think that you can regard the previous exchange as kikashi, and if you don't follow through it can become a losing sente.
OC, that could be because it is a losing sente, anyway, or another move could be at fault, so that it would be best to abandon the right side and cut your losses.

Re: Pippen vs. whomever danplayer comes first here
I think that the most desirable plan, now, would be to push through between the
stones and attack both White groups. The danger is to end up with floating stones that get attacked themselves, while White makes territory. It would also be desirable to prevent White
, which would make good shape with previous White stones.The least desirable plan would be to capture the stone on the right side. I venture than none of us would do so.
This is a play that takes a good bit of thought.
Edit: Unhidden.
