A sitewide round-robin tournament (19x19) played in 3 divisions (Dan, 1k-9k, 10k-30k) with even games has been created some weeks ago. Registration is still possible till the 06-Jan-2015. To participate you need a user-rating on DGS and must have finished at least 2 games (of any size), so you know how to play games on DGS.

Excellent news. I hope this can take off. There are many players who miss the old tourneys from OGS, so there should be market for this. Do you have the plan to start also 9x9 tournaments?
If something sank it might be a treasure. And 2kyu advice is not necessarily Dan repertoire..

This is tournament #18 on DGS. One of them is a 9x9 ladder.
Still officially AGA 5d but I play so irregularly these days that I am probably only 3d or 4d over the board (but hopefully still 5d in terms of knowledge, theory and the ability to contribute).
