Haylee L is a pro!

The live streaming player Haylee L, whose videos have been discussed many times here, has recently revealed herself to be Lee Hajin 3p. This means that the 60+ videos currently on her YouTube stream are of a professional player telling us what she is thinking as she plays.

This also helps satisfy the request made in this thread for game records of a professional playing strong amateurs. What a treat!

Ah, so she's revealed herself. I was pretty sure it was her already from her voice having met her a few times, and the username is quite a hint, but she had previously requested to remain anonymous.

Whether she is a pro or not, those videos do a world of good to make go seem less intimidating.

Of course, now I can be all hipster about it. I knew about her videos before it was known she's a pro.

One thing I have noticed about her games is she is sometimes careless in her play, assuming her move is sente and not expecting her opponent to resist, and when they do she gets in trouble. Against the weaker dans she could usually get herself out of trouble (though she did lose to a couple), but against 9ds that's going to be harder. Then again she is talking in a foreign language so it's harder to concentrate on the game, but it seems more like a laid-back/complacent attitude rather than not reading deeply enough.

I wonder if she just decided to do these personally for fun, or if the IGF thought it would be good promotion.

I have met her and though I am not great with voices I made this guess upon seeing her first video. Good to get that confirmed.
