Talking about Joanne Missingham, I have often wondered about her name. She was born in Australia but SL says her first language is Chinese. She also lived in Taiwan from the age of four. So how come she has a western name in addition to her Chinese name? Is her father Caucasian and her mother Chinese?
Still officially AGA 5d but I play so irregularly these days that I am probably only 3d or 4d over the board (but hopefully still 5d in terms of knowledge, theory and the ability to contribute).
