Trouble with Ranking, Please Help

Hello,

I'm looking for help with the ranking system on PandaNet 2. I am ranked as a BC, that is based on 15 wins 10 losses (rating 20 matches). I went from 17? to BC, which doesn't seem correct with the number of wins I had at 17?. Now that I am ranked BC it is hard to find rated games.

Can a manually change my rank? How do I do that?

Hi there,

In the website it says [2]:

The lowest rank is 17k, but below there we have established a Beginners Class, referred to as BC.
In the Beginners Class, players are promoted to 17k after five wins regardless of their number of losses.
Conversely, when 17k drops below the demotion line, they are demoted to Beginners Class.

The demotion line for for 17k to BC is 4900 points [1]. The PandaNet SocialPlaza allow you to see your current number of points. Unfortunately, In my experience, to see your current points you need a real rank (without ?). I had to play around 25 (more than 20) ranked games to get a real rank without '?'.

BTW, if you want to try, you can use the link [3] to login to SocialPlaza. If the link [3] looks too shade to you, you can go to PandaNet website and use the blue button (bottom right of the website) called NetSocialPlaza.
If it doesnt show any points, its probably because you haven't been ranked yet (without the ?).

Thanks for the help. I believe it said 0 points on the social plaza. That's a long way from 4900 points! My username is bigbaby
Now that I have a BC rank it is very hard to get a game.

Hmm - I think you only need 5 wins after being demoted to bc to rank up to 17k - not 50 - but see what happens - if you don't get promoted after 5 new box wins try making a new account.

Are you using automatch to get games? I've found it hard to get games any other way on igs.
