Toyota decided to have a real big Shogi match.

They took over the Seibu dome, got two of the strongest shogi players, and had test drivers to play a big game.
I think there's 8-10 hours of match spread over youtube or niconico, but the 2 min video gives you an idea.

I watched the whole thing on niconico. It was fun but at times it felt too much like a giant Toyota commercial.
The efficiency of the driver teams was quite impressive. The clock was still running during the moves so they were contributing to the game by going as fast as possible. Each team also had another pro player to help them anticipate the next move.
