Raw translation: Due to the unstoppable momentum of the Chinese go team, they beat their opponent in three straight sets (The original text referred to a volleyball team).

Smoothed translation: The Chinese go team overwhelmed their opponent in three straight games.

勝負 means victory and failure , it also refers result (of a game).
勝負師: means master, in go field , only several topest players can be called this title.

气势 ：　I know what it means in Chinese, but I cannot find a similar word in English.
