I think the sentiment is something on the lines of "I'm too cool to play joseki that you play. Even your new joseki are just ones I've tried and rejected."

While I like the idea, this diagram is just wrong: the intersection cannot be “Joseki I play” and “Joseki I used to play” at the same time, no?

Perhaps it should be "Joseki I know" "Joseki you know" with the central part labeled "Joseki I used to play."

I remember reading somewhere that even professionals make occasional mistakes in joseki. Made me think back then that I should probably not spend time working on something as tricky as that.

Perhaps I should try anyway, after all this time.
