Hello,
I registered after lurking here for some time. I hail from Oklahoma as you might guess from my screen name. I have been playing go off and on for about 30 years. Currently I play, when I have time, on KGS where I am a 2 kyu.
I will add a few posts to this just to play with some of the features.

Welcome. Where in Oklahoma? I helped start the Tulsa go club over 30 years ago and taught a lot of new players in the city. I left a long time ago and am not even sure it is still active.
Still officially AGA 5d but I play so irregularly these days that I am probably only 3d or 4d over the board (but hopefully still 5d in terms of knowledge, theory and the ability to contribute).

If you are in Tulsa give Jim Morris a call. His contact information is on the AGA web page for the Tulsa Club. Even though it is defunct I think he is still there and may have some information. Tell him Steve Fawthrop told you about him. We are old friends.
