Hello?

Post by Bki »

Hm... Ah, screw finding an original title.

I'm Bki, a French student in mathematics.

I've started playing go... Quite a few years ago now that I think about it, though the time I spend not playing was much greater. I learned about the game, played a lot during the following summer, stopped playing at some point, started again some time afterwards, then stopped again... and there might have been another similar cycle, before I started again recently, after not playing for more than a year.

It's surprising how little you lost. My rank didn't dropped, and I even remember what used to be my favourite Joseki (but as I don't use the 5-4 point anymore, it doesn't really matter).

One day, I will finally get myself to go join one of the club near where I live, but for now I mostly play on KGS, once or twice a day.

Apart from playing, I also enjoy solving Tsumego and replaying pro-games.

My playing style is sometime recklessly aggressive, as I try to hard to kill and leave myself overextended and thin. Though I've been trying to fix that.

Currently, I'm 5 kyu on KGS.
