I am trying to get pandanet GoPanda2 client installed on a Ubuntu 14.4 system. The icon shows but nothing happens when I click on it. Does anyone have a simple way to get this to work. I have read stuff about libraries etc but that is too complicated for me. Help please.
Thanks

Re: Ubuntu GO clients..
It's hard to diagnose a problem like "it doesn't run" without more information.
If you can, go open a terminal and run the program there by typing gopanda2 at the prompt and hitting enter, and then paste whatever error messages it spouts here, since they should give a better idea of what's causing it to not run.

Re: Ubuntu GO clients..
Rondoc --- to explain why skydyr told you to do that.
Standard procedure, when there are multiple possible types of problems, separate them out. Here there is the possibility that nothing is wrong with the program, just with what that icon is (or is not) associated with.
By telling you to run the program from the command line, the possibility of problems with the icon have been eliminated. If the program does work from the command line, then it was the icon association.
