I'm looking to buy some go books (21st Century New Openings) for delivery to the UK and would like any suggestions of online go book shops. Current ones I am aware of are:
- http://www.pentangle-puzzles.co.uk/ (get a BGA discount)
- https://shop.gogameguru.com (don't have 21st CNO)
- https://www.hebsacker-verlag.de (German)
- Het Paard at http://www.goshop-keima.com/ (Dutch)
US/expensive shipping
- Kiseido (or is it Japan)
- Slate and shell
- Yutopian
Any other recommended retailers? go-shop keima looks the best deal so far (each book €15 versus £28 at pentangle! and €9 cheapo shipping), I think that's Peter Zandveld's shop, often seen at EGCs.

This is only my impression of Kiseido (as of some years ago):- Kiseido (or is it Japan)
- Yutopian
If the item you are buying happens to be in Japan,
they'll ship it to you from Japan (my examples: Invincible, hardcover; a set of shell & slate stones).
If the item is in the U.S. (Los Angeles), they ship it from the U.S.
More of my impression (as of some years ago):
Perhaps there was some connection between Kiseido (Los Angeles) and Yutopian.
Things may have changed since.
Too bad Samarkand.net is no more.

You forgot these
https://www.schachversand.de/
http://en.aobo-shop.com/
http://mohsart.se/ (appears to be undergoing maintenance)
http://www.jeuxdumonde.com/
Pretty sure I saw 21st century openings book on Ebay recently.
Edit: Pentangle's shipping and cost levels for books are too high, in my opinion, from experience.

Re: Online go book shops
Thanks for the other shops Jujube, though I can't forget something I never knew! Have you bought from any of those, had good/bad service?
I doubt anything will beat Het Paard's €15 each, plus they also have the 100 tips for amateur players at under €8 each so I think I'll order from them later. Also I noticed that gogameguru has Valery Shikshin's series at under £10 each, might take a look at those.

Re: Online go book shops
I seem to recall getting a bamboo board from Aobo and a book from Schachversand before, no problems.
The sites I listed often have stocks left of books that are OOP or otherwise quite tricky to get hold of. Aobo had a copy of Appreciating Famous Games a few years ago, new condition, for £15, which is ridiculous. I didn't buy it.

My understanding is that Yutopian has exclusive distribution rights for Kiseido's products in the US, so if you order from Kiseido and it's shipped from the US, it's coming through Yutopian. As far as I know, this hasn't changed.

Since a couple of years ago, mohsart stopped selling go-stuff but luckily another store started at the same time, www.gobutiken.se
They only ship to Sweden and Norway though.
