Now white must play "a" or "b", then black "c" (and eventually "d")

, and should have diagrams for a couple of follow-ups by white. The last diagram seems, based on the text, to possibly begin a couple moves into a variation of the second diagram. I'm not sure what moyo they are speaking of, however. Is there a full-board position or an explanation of how the starting position occurred earlier? It seems vaguely like a 3-4 3 space low pincer joseki, but I don't recognize it.
