Hey everybody,
I am interested in purchasing one or two sets of Ing stones (without ING bowls).
Now, the shipping cost to Europe is horrendous ($42.00 for international Surface Shipping, doubled for two sets!).
So, could somebody please tell me the weight of one set of Ing stones? I’d like to find out whether it would make sense to have them sent to a friend in the US so that they could send them to me for maybe much less $$
Thanks in advance, Tom

Re: Ing Stones, Weight and Shipping Costs?
My set of Ing stones weighs 5.5 lbs (2500 g) -- in plain plastic bowls, not the standard Ing containers, though I'd doubt that would make much difference. Standard containers might be slightly heavier?

Thank you, fireproof, now I also searched the web for international shipping costs and found this shipping calculator, and it appears that Yutopian is already using the cheapest options
