Google Deepmind, the AI research group founded by Demis Hassabis, have just announced that their AI beat Fan Hui 2p 5-0 in even games and is to play Lee Sedol 9p in a match in March. He had hinted at some big news a while ago (see http://www.lifein19x19.com/forum/viewto ... 10&t=11497).
