In mean time I discovered why I failed to backup them in the first place.
You would expect to find your files in C:\Program Files (x86)\WBaduk\Gibo
But in more recent versions of windows they are no longer stored there.
Instead they are actually stored in the following path:
C:\Users\<your windows username>\AppData\Local\VirtualStore\Program Files (x86)\WBaduk\Gibo
Why?
--> Because Microsoft believes that applications should no longer be authorized to write files in the program files folders. But since many applications do this, Microsoft automatically saves them in this VirtualStore folder, whenever they attempt to do so.
As a result, if you backup your computer, you should also consider creating a backup of this AppData folder.
Which I didn't.
