This game is 1 of 2 that I played today on cosumi.net . As White I lost by 4.5 points, which is a bit surprising for me since I have not played against COSUMI in months. I usually lose by more than that in even games with it. In this game I aimed for a balanced opening so that I would not fall behind.

Before the above one, I played the below game and won by a comfortable margin. I was surprised since I usually lose against COSUMI. In this game I also paid attention to balance in the opening and did my best to avoid falling behind. Often I let my opponent get big moyos in the opening and see them almost always converted to territory.
I still don't get as much as I should in the opening and tend to tenuki when not recommended. Much obliged in advance for your recommendations.
A lost game against COSUMI.

I'm guessing you are stronger than I am so I won't bore you with my DDK nonsense. The only point I saw that looked like a real mistake was move 178. Playing G6 looks like it costs black a number of points while saving a few of yours.
