The Advanced Study Room of KGS (under lessons) will host the following (free and English language) events in June 2016:
On the 7th of May at 11:00 GMT, [sl=AnttiTormanen]Antti Tormanen 1p[/sl], of the Nordic Go Academy, will give a lecture on “how to use thickness”.
On the 13th of May at 8:00 GMT, [sl=GuoJuan]Gou Juan 5p[/sl], will play a teaching game with Silkroad, the winner of April's Alpha class.
On the 15th of May at 13:00 GMT, [sl=LiAng]Li Ang 3p[/sl] will explore how AlphaGo and Go Seigen shared an ability where “the stones they put on the board magically coincide”.
On the 22nd of May at 19:00 GMT, KGS's Thundergod 7d will give a fuseki lecture on finding the direction, turning points and urgent moves
On the 5th of June at 13:00 GMT, Nikola Mitic 6d (current Nihon Ki-in insei calss A) will give a lecture on the "direction of attack in the early game".
KGS's Thundergod 6d will be starting a series of game commentaries over live stream here: https://www.twitch.tv/mpepego They will take place on Wednesdays, Fridays and Sundays at 19:00 gmt. The series starts on June 8th.
On the 10th of June at 14:00 GMT, [sl=GuoJuan]Gou Juan 5p[/sl] will play a teaching game with Silkroad--the May winner of the ASR alpha class. She will give a short lecture after the game.
On the 11th of June at 19:00 GMT, Thundergod 6d will give a lecture covering fuseki problems.
