Another Wedding and another Cake

You might remember this thread from a while back, with a nice wedding Go cake.

Well Ember and I got married last week and we also had a nice Go cake. We thought you might enjoy it. So here it is:

Since we didn't have many Go player as guests, we decided to just show the final position of the "problem".

Maybe we now have some time to play Go again.

( A "realistic" rendering, not skipping i in the x coordinates, versus a "thematic" version with colorful stones. :) )

Congratulations, but it is not exactly clear which one of you is Yvonne and which is Axel given the anonymity of your accounts.
Still officially AGA 5d but I play so irregularly these days that I am probably only 3d or 4d over the board (but hopefully still 5d in terms of knowledge, theory and the ability to contribute).

I still remember when we told the owner of the patisserie our idea:
- "And you really don't want a normal wedding cake, do you...?"
+ "No." (*chuckle*)
Considering this (desperate) last try to evade this cake, they did a brilliant job. I surely would have gone crazy making all those stones... And considering that they didn't know about the game before, I cannot praise them enough for placing the stones correctly, it must have been very confusing for somebody who is not a Go-player.

@ Dr.Straw: Is it really important who is who? We also didn't think that we would have to say it since Ember is - as far as I know - a female first name in the English speaking world. But if it makes you happy ;-) :

Congratulations on your wedding and what a wonderful cake! For ours I decided to not go for a 19x19 position as I thought it'd be too hard to make, but your patisserie did an amazing job, and what a good design.
