As someone who's starting to treat Go as a serious hobby, I was bit disappointed that many of the really great Go blogs over the years have become inactive. As much as I love watching streamers sometimes you just want to, *gasp*, read. To this end I've started a new blog from the perspective of an enthusiastic single digit kyu. I have no lofty goals, I'm not documenting my path to shodan or anything like that (though I hope to achieve it as much as the next person). Rather it's simply a blog that documents my love for the game - whether that's interesting books, equipment, lessons, game records, pro events - you'll find whatever suits my fancy on a particular day. I'm currently documenting my experience at my very first US Go Congress where I'm literally in Go heaven.
Enjoy and any and all feedback is welcome.

Re: New Go Blog
I had been wondering if this name was related to the Twitter handle and Github account that does indeed turn out to be yours. Awesome
(Also, the blog is very enjoyable. Please keep us posted!)

I've also enjoyed your posts. I do wish there were links to the preceding and succeeding posts on each entry.

Re: New Go Blog
I just realised that on your blog page proper, you have game interactive records (that don't show up in my RSS reader). This is really nice as I was going to ask you to post SGFs when you're talking about things that happened in games
Looking at them (and other players at our level) is fascinating... I suspect we are of very similar strengths, but our Go skillsets seem to be utterly different. Another sign of just how much there is to know about everything. But also encouraging - it's a sign of how plentiful the opportunities are to improve. I can pretty much pick anything.
So cool.
