7k vs 7k, intense game

Post by SansaStark »

Hi, I just played a very interesting game on KGS, both I and my opponent are 7k. Well played by my opponent to take the win, this was a pretty amazing game to me.

This is my first game posted to this forum, I'd love to get some strong players input on it!
I was white.

Thanks!

Hi Sansa,

:w10:
Maybe consider:

If, however, :w1: hanes, then it reverts to the small avalanche --
this seems unsatisfactory for W --
because :b9: in the real game is not joseki.

:w30: P2 or P4...

:w38: This result feels like W got tricked by :b29: cross-cut ; too good for B ( huge corner ).

:b39: Slow.

:w40: Feels slow. R11 direction.

:w66: L6.

:w68: Maybe J6.
