Started Go 2 weeks ago!

Post by TimeZero »

Hi everyone! I was interested in Go for a long time, (I even bought a Go board 4 years ago) but it's after I finished re-reading the manga Hikaru no Go two weeks ago that I started to look on the web about Go. I found 361points.com and it was my real introduction to it. I played some games on Panda Egg, and i'm 2-8 at the moment. I lack the global vision of what's going on on the whole board most of the time, so after a couple turns, i'm starting to make some mistakes and that lead to my downfall.

I'm trying to get better, but I know it will take some time. ;-)

That was my story!

Howdy, and welcome! If you ever have any questions, let us know. People here seem to love explaining things, but don't always talk in a way that's easy for beginners to understand unless someone asks them to.
Someday I want to be strong enough to earn KGS[-].
