I'm interested in picking up some or all of the Elementary Go series books, with US shipping.

Many thanks

I'm hoping somebody might like to let a good, used set go.

Good luck looking for a cheap used copy of Handicap Go (Elementary Go, Vol 7). It's out of print.

FYI I ended up getting three volumes from Amazon.com ($13.50 each) and the remaining three harder to obtain volumes from Kinokuniya in NYC ($20 each including sales tax).

Thanks! 'Handicap Go' looks good from the contents page that you posted, but if it's out of print I'm happy to find an alternative. Any suggestions?

Kage's chronicles of handicap go is a very good book - it may be out of print too though, I can't remember...

Basic Techniques of Go has quite a nice discussion of handicap josekis also.

http://senseis.xmp.net/?BasicTechniquesOfGo

but if you really *need* volume 7, just wait. There's a copy for sale on Amazon.com right now for $30, for example.

http://www.amazon.com/gp/offer-listing/B0016SKC08/ref=dp_olp_used?ie=UTF8&condition=used

but there's also How to Play Handicap Go by Yuan Zhou

http://www.gobooks.info/ssyz004.html which I don't have myself.

edit: but then that and Kage's secret Chronicles are both commented games unlike Handicap Go and Basic Techniques.
