Hello my handle is Rig
Very new to the game of Go. Just won my first game no handicap against someone who was two kyu higher then me. I was soooo excited haha. I can't wait to play and discuss the game with you all and learn.

Re: Hello my handle is Rig
Thank you. I'm very new to the game. I was wondering if you knew any good books or other sources? I think I've exhausted all my online sources.

Re: Hello my handle is Rig
Welcome!
For first books, Janice Kim's Learn to Play Go series is a nice introduction. I started with book 2, and it helped me make sense of the game. Cho Chikun's Go: A Complete Introduction to the Game is also a good first book. There's even a chance your local library has a copy.
If you're lost in the opening in particular, Opening Theory Made Easy is very good.
For problem books, the Graded Go Problems for Beginners series is very good. They're available in the SmartGo books format, too, if you have a device you can read them on.

Just a reminder that L19 does not advocate the illegal distribution of Go books. Please ensure that any distribution of Go books is performed in a legal manner.

Re: Hello my handle is Rig
Good to know. I can't use SmartGo Books. I need to find a site that has the actual pdfs.

What's the favorite paperback or pdf book that you've purchased? And where did you manage to buy it? Amazon, that one site you shared, ebay?

Whom are you asking—me? Because I shared more than one site.
I really like Jasieks “First Fundamentals”.

Sure I guess it could go to you. Thank you for telling me.
