60 games of Fine Art

Post by Amtiskaw »

Here are 60 recent games of Fine Art from the Fox server.

The .zip and .tar.gz files are broadly the same, except that ZIP doesn't like Chinese characters in filenames, so that file has less informative filenames.

"Go World" channel has posted many of them on YouTube, with Crazy Stone estimating the current score balance. There's pro games against Zen, FineArt and AlphaGo. The channel started on April 1st, there's barely any views yet.

Ke Jie 9p vs. FineArt (Jué Yì) by Tencent on FoxGo: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pBz29cl_5mU

Notice Ke Jie doing the "AlphaGo" opening. Then FineArt hits the head of its own two stones, before handling the bottom right corner with an unusually long pincer, finishing its moyo by pushing Ke Jie's stones from behind on the fifth line. That's just not your grandpa's Go anymore. I love the out-of-the box strategies and moves these new AIs can generate.

I was the second subscriber to that channel :)

Nice games. The pushing from behind to give black 4th-line territory is definitely unusual. The hitting the head of its own two stones and the pincer are pretty ordinary moves though - you might be interested in http://senseis.xmp.net/?NadareJoseki
